Franklin J HoneyRock was an idiot.

He knew it and accepted it. We all have to be something, he reasoned.
Plus, the world needs idiots and if you're going to be an idiot you might as well be the best one you can be.
He was a good idiot.
But he wasn't a fool. No Sir, you could never call him a fool.

They're twice as foolish as half-wits.
